Who We Are
Hi! My name is Brendan Pressutti. I am a pre-med undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles.
One of my greatest passions is learning, and my goal is to one day have my own medical practice. As such, I sought out a way to gain knowledge in my field of interest: dermatology. I founded Derm ED in 2023 with the goal of being an all-inclusive club at UCLA that facilitates student education in the field of dermatology.
We have teamed up with Dr. J. Scott Boswell, a board certified dermatologist from Clovis, California, to offer students access to a professional online training course. This along with presentations from various professionals will ensure quality education for all members. Whether you have already made up your mind to pursue a career in dermatology or are just curious about the field, Derm ED is for you!

Club Meetings
An overview
At our weekly general meetings, we will be watching 1-3 “whiteboard review” style lecture videos from Dr. Boswell’s exclusive online course. Videos are fast paced, and members are encouraged to take notes. In-person participation is necessary, since we cannot share videos or host hybrid meetings. We hope to see you there!
